We hold two Sunday services 10:30am and 6:30pm plus a number of "mid-week" events.

If you are visiting, want to "try us out", or are simply interested to know about Christianity, our 10:30am service is a good choice. It has something for all ages.
Our music group accompanies our singing most weeks, but once in a while we use just organ and piano.
The children normally leave for their own programmes after a half hour , and the Sunday School classes finish as the main service ends.
There is also a toddlers sunday school class and a room with an audio/video link for those who cannot be in the service.
The service lasts between an hour and an hour and a half and most weeks we stay on to chat over a cup of coffee (or tea, or squash). Its a good opportunity to get to know people and find out what we are about.

The church lounge is suited to the smaller meetings. In the morning service it is where the creche is held, but it is also used by other church groups and is popular with the young people, as shown here enjoying 'fellowship' together after the morning service.

As with our morning worship, all are most welcome to attend, the service will last between an hour and an hour and a half.

I
Many of us attend both services, so whichever you choose to come to you will see familiar faces.

Our priority as a church is in the teaching and preaching of the Bible, and its relevant application to contemporary living.
The main means for this are through the two Sunday Services.
But in addition to the Sunday services we have a range of mid-week meetings. We alternate between home groups (smaller meetings in member's homes) and central Teaching and Prayer meetings. Checkout the notice board or ask for a program of events.
Central Teaching 'n Prayer Meetings are held on Thursday evenings at 7.45pm.
Bibles are available to borrow for all meetings, just ask as you come in.
The church premises are equipped with a loop system. If you have a hearing aid and want to make use of this facility, please switch your aid to 'T'. This is available for our Sunday services and also for many of other events held in the church. Sunday Sermon's are also recorded, and tapes are available to borrow. Toilet facilities for disabled visitors, are located immediately inside the front enterance. (Our old wheel-chair and buggy access ramp has recently been extended to upgrade the disabled access to the bulk of the church building).

Want fun on a evening?

Kogs and Crew are our term time children's clubs.

Note, it is the policy of the church to have all children's workers checked by the CRB.
Children's workers are also all encouraged to have current First Aid qualifications.

In 2007 we ran the Xpedition Force Holiday Club For Primary aged children.
2008 was

The Meeting place is a monthly informal slot, all are welcome.
It meets at 3pm on the first Tuesday of the month.

Typical meetings start with a topical speaker or craft demonstration and end with tea.

'Christianity Explored' and 'Basic Christian Discipleship' groups run when required.
There are no strings attached and you can drop out of the course at any point you like.
Christianity Explored groups can be set up at a suitable time in the week to meet people's needs and lifestyles. They can be arranged to meet at the church or in someone's home and there is the opportunity to ask any questions you wish. Please ask.
Survey of Manningtree A number from the Church have been out visiting door to door in and around Manningtree . We have a short anonymous survey of people's attitudes to Church, God, Jesus and where life is heading (only 9 Questions). When we have a large enough sample we hope to publish the results in the local media. The survey also asks for suggestions as to how the churches can better serve the local community. In addition, seperate to the main survey we also ask if people have matters for which they would like us to pray.
World Mission A world mission group keeps the church informed and involved in world mission and projects, both overseas and in UK. The church shares in the financial support of a missionary in Pakistan and a missionary family in Nigeria. We are also linked with a Church in Abbeville, Picardy, northern France (http://www.ecclesia-en-somme.com/) though France Mission (http://www.france-mission.org/).
